Tala is the word for rythm in Indian music, while Compàs is for rythm in flamenco.  The project is mainly about new forms of electric  guitar playing around the tapping,  the flamenco and the Spanish guitar in general. One of the guitar players is using the 'tapping' an innovative way of playing the guitar by tapping the fingers on the strings. This way of playing is somehow similar to tabla playing, that is why a great tabla player of India joins the group.

Sofia Yero, is a flamenco dancer and teacher with a great knowledge of rythmics

Urvasi Nritya, is a Bharat Natyam dancer known over India and Europe for her participation on fusion projects

Antonio Segura, is a great flamenco guitar player and will bring the tradition of the flamenco.

Daniel Schell is a composer and plays a twelve strings tap-guitar. He has studied in depth Indian music, and now has interest in the techniques of the flamenco guitar.

Sandip Banerjee is a great tabla player from Calcutta. He is a classical performer as well as an innovative 'fusion' musician.

These musicians have already met and played together. The music is a great joyful meeting full of rhythmic energy. During the tours the musicians invite the great flamenco dancer Sofia Yero
