Govinda Ion, Biographie

Gabriel Govinda Ion, is from Rumanian origin, and lives now in Nancy, France. Raised as a 'Gipsy' violin player, he has also studied Indian classical violin at the  Ghandarva Mahavidyalaya school of Delhi. he has also studied classical music in France. A a virtuoso soloist, he has performed Classical Indian music over all Europe, but he tours also regularly India and has played in Delhi, Mumbay ans so on with such famous tabla players as Lateef Ahmed Khan and Prabhu Edouard. Gabriel accompanies also regularly Kathak dance.  He teaches also improvisation and violin style from Eastern Europe.
